Training can strengthen both body and mind, as well as help preserve an intriguing part of history. Our classes are a fun, exciting, & safe way to explore elements of what made the samurai some of the most respected warriors of their time. Over the course of your study, you can expect to improve your agility, strength, stamina, and balance, along with gaining a greater knowledge of sword strategy and Japanese history. Classes at the Mesa dojo are ongoing, so students can join anytime!
Our program emphasizes realistic strategies, taught in the form of various techniques and drills that gradually build skill and confidence in handling your weapon. To this we infuse our knowledge of modern fitness principles for a well-rounded program that improves the knowledge, health, and spirit of each student.
